Meet The Staff!

Adam Simpson - Lead Pastor

When Adam accepted Christ at eight, he remembers thinking, “if this story about Jesus is real, it will change my life.” It did. For three decades, he combined his passions for the Kingdom of God, missions, media, creativity, and pastoral discipleship into an exciting journey. He met his wife Kristen at Union University and they both graduated from Golden Gate Seminary while helping start two churches in San Francisco. They then served on the mission field producing discipleship and evangelistic films for Azerbaijan, Brazil, and Iran. Returning to the US, Adam has pastored churches in Tupelo, Raleigh, and now Summertown, TN. Through their faith journey, their family witnessed Christ transform their lives and those they ministered to.  Adam believes we’re on the verge of an awakening and revival where those who believed the enemy’s lies will return to Christ. He hopes to preserve the legacy of rural churches as safe-havens of healing and build strong church foundations as we seek God’s way and will. Adam loves charcoal grilling like Jesus, reading, creating, hearing stories, camping, and traveling. Kristen and their four kids enjoy the food he grills.

Camden Perry - Youth Minister

Camden has served as our youth minister since October of 2024. He has grown up going to Summertown Baptist and is thankful for the opportunity to serve on staff at his home church. He graduated with a Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2025. His desire is to help equip our students to become surrendered followers of King Jesus. He is married to Bella Perry and they enjoy reading, visiting coffee shops, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Autumn Wilhite - Children’s Minister

Autumn has served on staff as children's minister since October of 2024 after first serving as children's director for several years prior.  She truly enjoys helping plan activities and lessons for the children of the church that help them grow a deeper and stronger love and understanding of their relationship with Jesus Christ.  Autumn and her husband Josh have four young daughters and enjoy spending time together in the great outdoors.

Evan Arview - Worship & Media Minister

Evan has served as our worship and media minister since his move to Summertown in January of 2026. Evan originally hails from the corn fields of southern Illinois, but moved to Tennessee to pursue a career in worship ministry in January of 2024. In addition to leading worship, you might see Evan walking around town with his wife Hannah, playing in the yard with his redbone coonhound, or ministering through playing funky music in Nashville.

Korie Faulkner - Secretary/Treasurer

Korie joined SBC in 2017. She took on the role of serving in the church office in 2019 as a part‑time secretary and in 2021 as our treasurer. She loves her work and the many meaningful interactions it brings with her church family and the surrounding community. Korie also serves under both the Youth Ministry and the Women’s Ministry as a youth teacher, small‑group leader, and member of the women’s ministry team. When she’s not at work, worship, or fellowship at SBC, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, and their two boys, Reed and Case.
